Gary Buxton and Stacia Walter are a father and daughter recruiting team for the banking industry in the Rocky Mountain states.
Gary Buxton, CPC, has been an executive recruiter since 1977 and founded Buxton and Associates in 1978. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Administration from Iowa State University and is a Certified Personnel Consultant.
Gary has served the Colorado Association of Personnel Consultants as president, chair of its ethics committee, and state chairman for the Certified Personnel Consultant certification program. A charter member of Denver Mile High Rotary Club, he served as a director and as its first membership chair. He is a past president of High Plains Rotary Club and was Assistant District Governor from 2005-2007.
In 1992 Gary was selected to participate in Leadership Fort Collins and has served as chair of its alumni association. In 1991 he became a designated arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau. He served as president of The Colorado Soaring Association for three years, and has been recognized for exceptional service by the Soaring Society of America.
Stacia Walter, CPC, joined Buxton and Associates in 2004. In November 2011, she earned the Certified Personnel Consultant designation issued by the National Association of Personnel Services. Prior to her recruiting career she was director of operations for a technology company in Colorado. She has spent more than twenty years in sales, accounting, and office management, including five years with a regional bank in Denver. Stacia enjoys working with people, is an avid golfer, and serves with the Volunteers of America.
